In the language of the Lenape Indians, Mawuni means collectively. Community was essential to the Lenape, whose guiding principles were kindness, compassion, and shared responsibility for one another and their land. 

In that spirit the Mawuni Farm collective is envisioning an intentional eco-village where sustainability and voluntary simplicity can lead to a more fulfilling and joyful life. Our boarding house is the prequel to moving this idea forward.

Our community has been growing organically and we are currently working on creating a common vision and guidelines before moving on to the next phase.
